About Me:
Born and raised in Tampa, FL, Eric Cupps has been involved in media production since age 16,  In high school, Cupps produced and anchored news features for '10 Ultimate' and 'FOX13 Magazine'.  These programs are completely produced by high school students and airs in a prime-time spot in the 13th largest TV market in the United States.  Cupps received many awards and honors for TV production in high school.  At the age of 19, he was hired to work at WTVT-FOX13 as a production technician.

Throughout the years, Cupps has been involved in several aspects of TV production.  Graphics, audio, camera, floor director, robotic cameras and shading, utility and even producing and directing.  "I throughly enjoy TV...everything about it, the hours, the hard work and the satisfaction of the work.  The fact that what I am doing will be seen by many, many people is completely exhilirating" says Cupps.

Eric now works full-time for USF Health in the Digital Media and Communications Department.  His responsibilities include AV system design and support, working with integrators and contractors to install and commission AV room control systems, Digital Signage solutions, automated class lecture recordings and Video Teleconferencing Support.

In his spare time, Eric is married to his wife Michele and has a daughter named Avery.  He enjoys spending time with his family, along with attending concerts, SCUBA diving, volunteering with the Boy Scouts, eating chicken wings and camping. 

"I'm always looking towards the future...I want to make lasting impressions and create a positive expereince for those I encounter, in any way!" said Cupps.
